If you look around and think for a minute, how many times have you lied to some one, a friend, family, teacher.. its all the same, you straight up lied. Did you lie to their face, behind their back.. or even both. How did it make you feel, happy, sad, did it eventually get to you.. is it eating at you? Now think about how many times YOU'VE been lied to! How many stories did you trust when really that person just lied to you.
Why do we lie? Why cant we tell the truth? Who ever made up lying?
They say "sometimes the truth hurts more than lies"
Yes I do agree with that, because getting told the truth KILLED me, but I think being told a lie and;
A. Finding out later would make you look like a fool for believeing it
B. Never finding out and trusting someone that maybe you shouldnt trust
I think even if the truth hurts more, you should still tell it. Truth is the key to life.. How can you go about trusting liers all your life, everything you told would be false. The person telling lies would live a horrible life because they are doing

ReplyDeleteI agree with this so much, and it hurts especially more when you catch someone lying to you and they lie abuot that too and blame it on someone else who is supposed to be their "best friend" therefor dragging more people in and creating a bigger, more painful lie
ReplyDeleteI love how you related lying to trust, because really without trust, what is a friendship or a relationship? You need trust as the foundation in any situation, and as soon as someone lies it destroys any trust you have in them. It isn't worth it, as much as the truth does hurt, a lie is worse.
